 Learn to play the DRUMS for fun or to join a band. All lessons are tailored to ROCK drum students (i.e. Match Grip, not Traditional Grip that jazz players use). Learn to use the full drum set: snare, kick, hi-hat, floor tom, hi-toms, ride, crashes... 

LEARN..... drum rudiments, hand & wrist technique, body coordination, keeping time, creative fills, song structures,             sight reading drum music, drum set upkeep and tuning,         songs, tones, ergonomic, differences in musical styles,          time signature changes, working with a metronome

RATES: 1 hour - 45$or 1/2 hour - 25$for Private Lessons. Schedule weekly or bi-weekly. 24 hour cancellation policy.

This is a fun adult's guitar class I’ve taught at the Willie Mae Ladies Rock Camp and Learning Annex. We’ll cover everything to get you playing and confident – whether you are an absolute beginner or long time player in need of reviewing the basics. 

Learn: - easy tuning and upkeep - proper hand technique, fretboard theory - strums, fingerpicking, capos - songs – we’ll choose together - buying strings./changing strings, checking intonation - rhythm guitar and playing with a band or other guitarists - sight reading, best online resources for guitar music - chord progressions - how to start writing - easy fast ways to learn lead guitar!

Ongoing registration Saturdays 3-5pm beginning June 19th

This is an informal jam session for guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, singers, and drummers located at the new Willie Mae Rock Camp location. This is a chance for women of all levels to practice familiar songs, learn new ones, practice songwriting, trade tips, find possible band mates, and have fun playing music together. Band coach will help with instrument instruction, amp/gear set up, and general band coaching. 

Ages 18+. Great for beginners, intermediate, and rusty players who want experience playing with other musicians.
